4-year-old boy shows advanced emotional intelligence and earns over 23 million views

There are so many things kids are not allowed to do or even see. That is simply because they are too young and given their age, their ability to understand things is not yet fully developed.

It’s a parent’s sole responsibility to let their children know their boundaries and what is it that they will get once they go beyond them.

I am a parent too to a 5-year-old girl and when it’s time to say “NO”, I will always say so because I always want to stay firm in our house rules.

We, adults, particularly parents, know what is best for our children, but there’s also no harm in hearing our kids out.

Oftentimes, once a kid hears the word “NO”, it triggers emotions like sadness and sometimes, anger. That is totally understandable for kids because they don’t know yet why are they not allowed to do some things.

But this 4-year-old boy is an exception, people are now calling him a “grown man”, “self-aware”, and “smart.”

The little boy’s name is Aldie and in this video, he talked about his “emotions.”

It’s all because his mama didn’t let him go outside.

And the result? The smart toddler’s feelings were hurt. Aldie was “a little sad” because he wasn’t allowed to go outside.

His mama sat with him and patiently listened to Aldie, she wanted to show her little boy that she wasn’t invalidating his feelings.

Her mom then told him that everyone gets upset sometimes and that people don’t get what they want all the time. She was stating facts all the while teaching Aldie these valuable lessons at such a young age.

It really proves her level of trust in terms of her son evaluating different situations and weighing his emotions.

Even adults mess up sometimes and it’s impressive how Aldie was able to dissect the situation. He even pointed out an earlier scene when his dad got mad and he told his dad to “stop, breathe slow, and make a smart choice.”

They ended up their conversation with Aldie asking his mom, “Even though I was that mad you still love me that so much?” To which his mom responded with a reassuring, “Of course.”

The video of their heartfelt conversation was uploaded on TikTok and now has over 23 million views with 4.5 million “heart” reactions.

This simply proves that even kids know how to express their emotions in a smart way and they could also validate other people’s feelings.

@mom_aldie Bedtime conversation. The last part made me ❤️🥹 #fyp #momlife ♬ Chopin Nocturne No. 2 Piano Mono – moshimo sound design
