The three amazing tenor voices that make up the a cappella group ‘Gentri’ have created some incredible music together. Apparently, they also do research for comedy’s sake on the internet!
As the video title screen rolls ‘Gentri Research Log 1.0,’ little kids are asked what a gentleman is. The kids, ages 5-9, give the funniest answers you can imagine!
One young girl says, “They write books! I know that one. He writes with feathers.” Another girl just stares dead into the camera and says, “Beatles… can’t think of anything!” A boy says, “They are really kind to a lot of girls.”
Another girl says, “He says, ‘May you like to go first?’” Then, she bows. She continues, saying, “Do you want to go to the dance with me?” She twirls while singing energetically.
Another kid says, “He puts his coat over the mud so they can walk on it.” “They do something they want to do with…humans…I mean girls,” says one girl, very confused.
“They open the doors for girls,” says a girl in a green dress sitting next to her sister. A young girl in pigtails says, “They kiss on the lips.” Then, she pushes her fingers together and makes kissing noises.
These hysterical responses remind us of the joy of children. They have the ability to make us laugh no matter what. The kids may not know exactly what a gentleman is, but that’s not stopping them from hogging up some camera time with their antics.
