Do you have a special talent or skill? It could be something mainstream such as an excellent ability to dance, or it could be something slightly odd, like being able to do a difficult magic trick that makes people say, “oooh,” and “ahhhh!”. Whatever it might be, isn’t it great when you have the opportunity to let the world know your talent? Like this singer, Charice Pempengco, who was able to use her powerful voice to sing a popular song for a huge audience.
Charice, who was first discovered by Ellen Degeneres a few years back, gave an outstanding performance when she sang the song, “All By Myself” by Celine Dion. Now, if you’ve ever heard the song (which I am sure you have), you’ll know that there is a particularly difficult part near the end, one where the singer should hold a note for a prolonged period of time. And it is this part of the song that has caused Charice even more fame and popularity.
This young girl not only sings the entire song with grace and love, but when it comes to that hard-hitting note, she completely aces it and wow’s the crowd in the process. She even causes her piano player, David Foster, to give a happy and impressive smile when she does. This is a big compliment, seeing as he has accompanied many famous artists in the past, such as Chicago, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
