11-Year-Old Girl Plays The Banjo Like A Master

When you first see Willow Osborne play her favorite instrument, the banjo, you’ll be quite surprised to learn that she’s only 11 years old.

Her raw talent and amazing abilities are awe-inspiring to watch, and when you see this little girl play this incredibly difficult song, “Flint Hill Special,” you’ll easily agree that this girl is going to be on the bluegrass circuit for many many decades to come!

Learning from some of the greats, like Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, this girl plays with a smooth confidence and character that make her video an absolute joy to watch. The personality she shows while picking is just downright fun. The skill it takes to do what she does at :24 is way beyond her years; this girl is a tried and true prodigy!

This girl needs to record an album with the 11-year-old banjo boy who played on the David Letterman Show as soon as possible! Those two are going to do some amazing things with music in the very near future, and we should all feel so lucky to see where she began!

The TN native has been playing since the age of four, and for the past four years she’s really begun to make a name for herself. She’s played at Dolly Parton’s Dollywood and has given multiple interviews to news stations like PBS.

Please SHARE her incredible talent if you think all children should be taught an instrument!
