The Irish Step Dance is the most popular and well-known form of dancing in Ireland; most notably, the show Riverdance that has been exceptionally popular. Irish step dancing is no easy feat to learn, but the little one in this video shows exceptional talent and great discipline.
This form of dancing requires the upper body to be quite rigid, to go along with the fancy footwork below. While learning this dance may take years of practice, the sweet toddler shown in the video proves you are never too young to start.
This adorable two-year-old is showing off her set for St. Patrick’s Day. In the spirit of the holiday, she does her routine in a precious little green dress, complete with a big bow in her hair. She begins with her hands behind her back, clasped together, flashing a great big smile to her videotaping mother.
Then the music starts! This step dancing angel prances all over her family’s living room. Showing off her disciplined practice, a trained eye would instantly notice her cleverly pointed toes and high lifts of the knee, demonstrating that she was taught by a step dancing pro!
Her lovely little jig takes her skipping all around the room as the Irish step music jovially plays and her big, sweet smile remains on her face. Her concentration can’t be broken!
