How did it happen that 36 nurses got pregnant at the same time in the same hospital

Nurses working in the intensive care unit of Children’s Mercy in Kansas City say: “Not otherwise, our water is somehow special. Whoever drinks, immediately becomes pregnant. Indeed, since the beginning of this year, 20 employees of the department have already become mothers, and 16 will have babies by December. Just some baby boom.

“Of course the water is a joke. It’s just that our environment is so conducive to motherhood, ”Allison Ronko, who gave birth to her son Henry on January 7, told reporters. According to the young mother, babies with serious illnesses and often in critical condition are admitted to their department.

Another nurse, Sarah Carbono, had to face the work of the intensive care unit, not only as an employee but also as a mother. Her son Ben was born with a heart defect. “I never thought I would see my little baby in our rooms. It was very scary because I knew that not all children can be helped by doctors. But luckily everything worked out and Ben made a full recovery,” says Sarah.

Out of 20 babies, there are only 2 girls and 18 boys. The rest of the nurses also speak very warmly about their team and say that they consider themselves to be one big family. To demonstrate this clearly, all present and future mothers took pictures – some with a baby, and some still with a tummy. At the same time, each of the girls held in her hands a sign with the date of the completed or expected birth.

By the way, among 20 kids there are only 2 girls and as many as 18 boys. And what will be the balance by the end of the year, future mothers do not yet say. Nothing, wait for December – we will definitely find out.
